communicate the acceptable methods of preparing hard drives for disposal:
The information provided in the attachments applies to all Client owned computer drives. Information regarding the disposal of leased computers will be provided on the Spectrum-OSS web site as soon as it is available. Computer hard drives which are removed for the purpose of upgrade or repair, whether leased or owned, are also subject to these guidelines. The disk erasure programs referenced in Attachment 5 are compatible with Intel-based 486-and-higher processors. For older machines or non-Intel based machines please contact us directly at (818)951-0933 for recommended disk erasure products or procedures.
